Alpha Drop Ventures started as one person's bet, more than two years ago, before there was a product, a name, or anyone else in the room. It isn't that anymore. There's a small founding team here now, building daily, still pre-revenue, still no safety net under any of us. Alpha Drop Ventures is a cultural commerce holding company, built on the idea that scarcity, story, and trust are infrastructure, not marketing. Dropz is the first and core proof of that idea: a verified limited-edition drop platform for India's subcultures.

It won't be the only one. Alpha Drop is built to hold a family of brands that carry the same thesis into different corners of culture, and Dropz is where that starts.

We're not building any of this for a fast exit. Ten years from now, this is the kind of thing you get to tell your kid you built. Not many jobs give you that sentence honestly. This one might.

Pre-revenue. A small founding team, not a solo project anymore, but still nowhere near settled. Most of what you'd expect at a company, a fixed way of running a week, a properly used Slack, doesn't exist yet. You'd be building it, not inheriting it.

This is an onsite role, based in Kochi. Not hybrid. Not remote with occasional travel. In the room, most days. It's a bet that culture gets built in person, by people who show up, and Kochi is where we're placing it on purpose.

There's a difference, and it's not a phrase we're using for effect. A hire fills a gap in something already built. A founding team builds the thing the gaps will eventually exist inside of. What this becomes, in a year, in five, gets decided by who's in this room in the next few hires. That's not pressure we're putting on you. It's just true.

Real ownership, not a title bump. If you're on the founding team, you hold an actual stake in what this becomes, sized to match the risk you're taking, not a symbolic sliver that means nothing until an exit nobody's promised.

You get a kind of proximity most people never get this early. Every real decision happens in rooms you're actually in, not filtered down through five layers by the time it reaches you. What you learn here in eighteen months, doing five jobs' worth of judgment calls instead of one, takes most people five years somewhere bigger.

And your name stays on it. The systems you build, the standards you set, the way this feels before anyone else has opinions about it, that's authorship, not employment. When this gets written about later, you were there before it was obvious this would work.

Skill is teachable. What isn't: wanting to build something bigger than the job description, believing in something before there's proof it deserves belief, and treating the outcome like it's yours to lose, not the company's.

Call it delusional if you want. Every real company starts as a small, stubborn delusion held by people who never checked if it was reasonable. We're looking for that same specific unreasonableness, not about yourself, about what we're building. And ownership here isn't a value on a wall. When something breaks at midnight, you fix it because it's yours, not because it got assigned to you.

At this stage, staying alive is a function of output, not intention. Momentum stalls the day the output stops, and it doesn't restart on a good excuse. Consistency isn't a nice trait we're hoping for, it's the actual mechanism keeping this going. Show up, every day, with something to show for it. That's the whole job, underneath whatever your title says.

This is a hustle. Most pages like this won't say that plainly. We just did.

This is for someone who's already been the person fixing what nobody assigned them, at a job, on a team, in a room where it needed doing and nobody else moved. Someone who can hold belief in something unproven longer than is reasonable, not out of naivety, but out of a deliberate refusal to wait for permission. Someone who reads "two years in, pre-revenue, onsite, still taking shape" and feels pulled toward it, not away from it.
